Mother F

Simply put: father? Of course, these days, the meaning is more fluid and simply denotes the lover of a declared maternal unit - your own or someone else's, whether that be herself or another. Traditionally, perhaps, this simply denotes a father or father figure. Why then is the usage tainted in a negative in context?
Perhaps they refer to a broken (or soon to be) family where the mother is in a new relationship (sans judgment of its type and merit) with another. The origin then perhaps stems from the child/ren of said mother, or her couple in this act. Upset at the act itself, which they believe rends their otherwise happy family, they choose a negative consequence and enunciate their feelings thusly.
A simple solution to a simple phrase. No unusual or bizarre ill will here.
If there are no roots in the embittered amongst us, is it perhaps a call to arms? A maternal unit's mating call: paging all who would enjoy coupling with me - attend! A disturbing twist, but no less valid than any other explanation.
So then, father, new lover or a mating call? Your choice and consequence thereof.
